I had to self-reflect today. 2025 will mark the third year since my life was disrupted to be reformed for God's glory. Three months into 2025, I experienced a profound death to my old identity—a transformation that was as challenging to comprehend as it was necessary. Yet, here we are, standing in the promise of a new season, 3 days in.
In 2023, I made an innocent prayer over my life. Nothing was wrong—in fact, life was good. But there was a stirring in me, a sense that my soul was void. I didn’t understand what I was asking for, but God surely did, and He added some "lol." I expected an image exchange of the old for the new, but I didn’t know it would come with making room by clearing out the existing. It took me two years to comprehend what had happened and how it all began. Just when you think God is done, He shifts gears and moves in ways you cannot comprehend or anticipate.
Three days into spring. A season of rebirth, not just in nature but also within the body of Christ. The significance of "333" struck me—its Hebrew meaning is to "pay close attention," while in Greek, it signifies "to revise." It feels like God is speaking through every element around us, emphasizing that we are indeed walking in greater realms for His glory.
One message God pressed into my heart is this: Never forget who He is and where He has brought us from. The enemy is still out to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but the Good Shepherd has already laid down His life for us (John 10:11). We must be vigilant, discerning, and deeply anchored in His truth.
This season calls for alignment with God’s vision. It’s a reminder to revise our hearts and minds to reflect His will. As nature blossoms, let our spirits also bloom, rooted in His love and truth. I’m choosing to embrace this divine revision and walk boldly in the newness He has set before me. What about you?
Scriptures to Reflect On:
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2)
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." (Exodus 14:14)
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:19)
