1000 testimonies for Jesus Christ: Lindah Lucy’s Leap of Faith(Kingdom Business)

I received  a holy spirit nudging to kick off this blog series and I was a bit reluctant but then I realized that I actually enjoy creating for God’s Glory. So here I am taking that step outside my comfort zone literally to tell inspiring testimonies. Our goal for now is 1000 testimonies for Jesus Christ. I hope this one blesses you.

Let me introduce you to Lindah Lucy-daughter, sister, friend, future wife (I love the ring to that!), a self-proclaimed javaphile (trust her to teach you something new LOL). From day one, when I met her, I was blown away by her bubbly personality but more importantly her heart. I knew she was called for more and she’s literally doing that. How profound!

She’s a financial inclusion advocate, an impact leader and the Founder of the SheEO Foundation. In other words, she’s on a mission to make sure women in marginalized communities don’t just survive but thrive. We are surely cheering her on at the front row seat. Let’s rewind a little bit. Nine years ago, Lindah was stuck in the corporate hamster wheel (been there, done that), feeling drained, unfulfilled, and utterly convinced that God had something bigger for her. So, she did what any desperate-but-hopeful believer would do – she threw up a bold (borderline reckless) prayer: God, if you are done with me here, show me the next big thing. (I nearly threw my phone away with that single prayer). It’s giving audacious faith!

And just like that, the phone rang. No, seriously. A call came that led her straight to the work that she's doing now. It was as if God Himself picked up the divine hotline and said “ Bet! Watch this.” That moment of surrender cracked the door open to her purpose and she hasn’t looked back since.

The ‘Aha’ Moment- or Should We Say, ’Oh, snap, God’s Been Prepping Me For This’

When Lindah was debating whether to launch SheEO, she stumbled upon an old notebook (Oh, the power of journaling!). And guess what? Three years earlier, she had written down a vision for an organization that -brace yourself- was an exact blueprint of what she was about to start. Cue the goosebumps…

That’s when she knew. This wasn’t just a good idea. This was a God-given idea. And when God gives a green light, even fear has to step aside and give way to the kick off.

Faith Over Fear-But Let’s Be Real, The Struggle Was Real

Starting SheEO wasn’t a smooth, instagrammable, ”and everything fell into place” kind of journey. There were nights the bank account was looking at her like” What are we doing, sis?”

There were moments when partnerships felt like pulling teeth. There were days when she wondered if leaving the security of a paycheck was faith or straight up foolishness.

But here’s the thing—Faith doesn’t mean that there will be no doubts. It just means you move forward anyway. And move forward, she did. With every hurdle, God showed up, sending unexpected partnerships, unwavering supporters, and undeniable proof that this mission was his all along.

What Keeps Her Going? The Women Who Refuse To Give Up

Lindah could have tapped out when things got hard. It only makes sense. It’s easier. That’s what logic says but that’s not what God is about. Every time she thought about throwing in the towel, she thought of the women she serves and the one’s still waiting to be served — women who against all odds keep pushing, grinding, building and believing. If they can, why not me? That becomes her rally cry.

This goes to show that when God places a burden in your heart, it becomes Paul’s version of a thorn in your flesh. We also have to recognize the meaning of a vision at an appointed time. This was her appointed time. Please be keen to note that an appointed time does mean no challenges, no hard times, no dry seasons. It just a banner wave that you are truly Called To Purpose (no pun intended).

Kingdom Business: Impact Beyond Profits

For Lindah, SheEO is more than an organization--It' Kingdom Business in action. It's about building something that serves a greater purpose, aligns with God's will, and uplifts entire communities. This is not just about financial success; it's about generational impact, restoring dignity, and empowering women with tools to break cycles of poverty.

When faith fuels business, it becomes more than a career--it becomes a mission. And Lindah is living proof that when you put God at the center, He opens doors than no man can shut.

Parenthood: The SheEO Training Ground

Lindah isn’t a parent—yet. But let’s be real, she is already nurturing something that demands patience, resilience and a whole lot of faith. As a founder, mentor, and (yes) even a plant mom, she has had a glimpse of what it means to pour into something with unwavering commitment. SheEO has taught her that growth takes time, that challenges are inevitable, and that sometimes you just have to trust the process and let things unfold as they should.

Much like leadership, parenthood requires a great aspect of balancing—knowing when to guide and when to step back. And one thing is for sure: when the time comes, Lindah’s approach will be built on the same pillars that fuel her work—love, faith and community.

Advice For Fellow Dreamers: Carry Your Own Chair

If there’s one thing Lindah would tell her younger self (and you, dear reader), it’s this: Be bold. Take risks. Take up space. And if they do not give you a seat at the table? Carry your own dang chair! (C’mon now!)

She spent way too long waiting for permission, waiting for the “right” moment, waiting for someone to say,” Yes, you belong here.” But, here’s the truth–God already said yes. And that’s the only permission slip you need.

A Writer's Parting Shot

This is definitely the best piece to kick of this blog series. Lindah, your journey is nothing short of a masterclass in faith, courage, and obedience. You've shown us what it means to trust God even when the blueprint is blurry and to press forward even when the resources seem scarce. May your testimony continue to inspire and ignite purpose in others, and may SheEO grow beyond what you imagined. That's exactly how God works. Keep taking up space, keep carrying that chair, and keep letting God blow your mind.
